Design Proposal :
Located within the Built up Zone in a ‘Close’ of individual properties the southern aspect of the site is open to agricultural fields.
The development proposal is for two contemporary dwellings and the design strategy summarized as follows: –
A continuation of a similar figure ground relationship to the other building plots in the vicinity
Maintaining an established building line to the southern aspect
A reduction in the first floor area to align with the adjacent properties
Provision for good quality amenity space to the south with access and carparking to the north
Provision of first floor living spaces to exploit the surrounding views
Screening to ensure adjacent neighbour’s privacy is not compromised
The retention of the two established trees within the site area.
