Project : Boyne Terrace, Great Union Road, St. Helier
Design Proposal :
This project involved the refurbishment and reinstatement of 4No traditional period town houses, some of which had over time been converted into flats, whilst others had fallen into a state of disrepair.
As the buildings were listed, the works were undertaken in very close co-operation with the Historic Environment Team, from within the Planning Department.
In additional to all the usual planning / byelaw and construction detailing, detailed photographic and measured surveys were undertaken of various ‘historic’ details which had to be reproduced for the windows, shutters and bay window detailing to name but a few.
